A former WWE United States Champion has been receiving a lot of defeats and dead ends on SmackDown. The 42-year-old star recently lost another chance to regain his title because of the new Bloodline's interference, despite having no enmity with the heel faction. Because of this, there’s a chance that LA Knight could quit the blue brand in frustration.
The Megastar defended the US title at Survivor Series against Shinsuke Nakamura. The King of Strong Style had already penetrated LA Knight’s headspace via his mind games and used it to his advantage to win the title. Knight has tried to get back at the Japanese star several times following this but has received no success.
This week on WWE SmackDown, Nakamura defended the championship against Knight again. However, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu interfered in the match. While Jimmy Uso and Cody Rhodes arrived to counter them, the damage was already done, and the bout ended in a no-contest.
The Megastar’s momentum has already been thwarted multiple times, and there’s a possibility that he will not get another match. Especially when Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, and Santo Escobar are already in line to fight for the US title.

Thus, in frustration, LA Knight could quit WWE SmackDown and move to RAW ahead of the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. While this is a significant possibility, all of this is speculation so far.
LA Knight’s move to WWE RAW can give him a new championship opportunity
WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is currently dealing with the difficult task of finding a credible opponent for Bron Breakker. The two-time Intercontinental Champion always reaches out to the RAW GM and complains about diminishing the worth of his title run by giving him lackluster opponents.
With all the top stars like Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Jey Uso involved in their respective feuds, Pearce can’t go with them. On the other hand, Bronson Reed is injured. Thus, if LA Knight moves to Monday Night RAW, Pearce will finally have a strong challenger for Breakker.
LA Knight has defended his title more times than the 27-year-old, including a Triple Threat defense against Carmelo Hayes and Andrade at the 2024 Crown Jewel. He is also a big fan-favorite. Thus, The Megastar would make the perfect opponent for Breakker. WWE could make the match go either way and keep the fans on edge.
It would be interesting to see what lies in the future for LA Knight.
