WWE will likely aim to stack the card for this final PLE of 2024. However, one major superstar might miss the highly anticipated event, that being none other than Randy Orton.

The Viper was scheduled for a singles match against Kevin Owens at Crown Jewel. However, before the match began, Owens attacked Orton with a steel chair, sparking an all-out brawl. Both men seemed less interested in a match and more focused on inflicting pain, even taking out officials who tried to intervene.

Their brawl eventually spilled into the crowd, where KO leaped off the railing onto The Viper through a stack of tables. Orton came out the worst from this brutal encounter, ultimately needing to be carried out of the arena. This could be WWE’s way of writing the former World Heavyweight Champion off television for the coming weeks, possibly due to real-life issues he may need to address.

Owens, meanwhile, comes out of this looking strong and could soon enter a feud with Cody Rhodes, potentially leading to a match at Survivor Series. Orton may return afterward to seek revenge on The Prizefighter.

WWE star accused Randy Orton of causing an accident before Crown Jewel

The feud between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens has become increasingly personal in recent weeks. Ahead of Crown Jewel, The Prizefighter took things further by accusing The Viper of causing an accident.

In an interview, Owens revealed that he and WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley were in a dune buggy when the vehicle flipped and rolled over several times. Owens suggested that the driver was likely paid off by Randy Orton or Cody Rhodes.

"We got into a dune buggy, and what happened? We flipped, [and] we rolled over several times. How many was it 3, 4, 5 times? [Cathy Kelley responds: We rolled over three times] We were in a car accident two days ago, and you know why? Because I have no doubt that [the] driver was paid off by Randy Orton or Cody Rhodes to make that happen. Because everyone is against me, do you know that?" he said.
