Survivor Series: WarGames is fast approaching, and fans expect a few exciting matches to take place as WWE is finalizing the card for the premium live event. The majority of the top male and female superstars will be in action this Saturday, with The Bloodline Civil War set to headline the show.
Still, a few top stars are expected to miss Survivor Series: WarGames, and in this article, we take a look at four rumors heading into Saturday's Premium Live Event.
#4. Drew McIntyre could return soon
It has been nearly two months since Drew McIntyre last appeared in WWE. The Scottish Warrior competed at Bad Blood in early October when he lost to CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell Match.
This match ended his rivalry with The Best in the World and forced him to take time off to recover from the injuries he sustained inside Hell in a Cell.
As reported by PWInsider, the former World Heavyweight Champion is getting closer to his return, and there have been talks between him and WWE Creative about what his next storyline will be and when he will be back in action.
Still, there is no confirmed date for his comeback, however it shouldn't be long before we see Drew McIntyre back in the ring.
#3. Jade Cargill is healthy, and her injury is a storyline
WWE pulled Jade Cargill from Survivor Series: WarGames following a backstage assault on SmackDown last week. Cargill will not work the Women's WarGames Match, but who will replace her in the Women's Tag Team Championship?
Even though there were reports that her injury was legit and that she was set to miss three months or more, it appears there is no truth in them. Instead, PWInsider reported that Jade Cargill is healthy, which has been confirmed by multiple WWE sources.
Thus, the backstage assault was a way for WWE to write her off TV for a while and bring her back with a new angle going forward.
#2. Cody Rhodes will not work Survivor Series: WarGames
Cody Rhodes has shifted his attention to Kevin Owens following the latter's assault on Randy Orton. With Orton out indefinitely, The American Nightmare seeks revenge on KO, and the expectation was that this match will take place at Survivor Series: WarGames.
Still, the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion will not show up in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday, and WWE has made his title match with Kevin Owens official for the final Premium Live Event of 2024, Saturday Night's Main Event (December 14).
#1. The OG Bloodline will stay together after Survivor Series: WarGames
The OG Bloodline reunited after Crown Jewel and will now look to even the odds with the new Bloodline with some help from a returning CM Punk.
The Best in The World is expected to return to RAW, but the rest of The OG Bloodline will stay together for the foreseeable future.
According to WrestleVotes, Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn will stay together for the weeks to come, and The Bloodline Civil War will be extended through early 2025, meaning that fans should see the storyline continue on the RAW premiere on Netflix (January 6) and the Royal Rumble (February 1).
