What's the story?
The rumour mill has been churning over the past few days ever since it was speculated that Nia Jax walked out of WWE on Monday night during Raw. Now we've learnt that on the latest episode of The Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez stated that Nia was upset because she wanted the match against Asuka at TLC this weekend.
In case you didn't know...
Nia Jax wasn't part of Monday Night Raw this week and wasn't a part of the five-person elimination match last week to determine an opponent for Asuka at TLC either. Instead, it will be Emma that faces the undefeated Empress on Sunday night.

Nia's last match on Raw was when she faced Mickie James back on October 2nd as part of the storyline between Alexa Bliss and Mickie. After that match the storyline on the show changed so that Mickie could go on to face Alexa Bliss for the Women's Championship, but Nia wasn't involved.
The heart of the matter
Bryan Alvarez reported that Nia didn't walk out of WWE and she's definitely not gone from the company, she was never supposed to be at Raw on Monday night. He said,
According to WWE, Nia Jax has not gone and she never left. That’s what they say. She was not at Raw on Monday so she didn’t walk out – that’s for sure.
However he went on to add that Nia Jax is definitely unhappy about some things, with not receiving an opportunity to face Asuka at TLC 2017 being chief among them.
“I know that Nia Jax has been unhappy about things. I was told that Nia wanted the match with Asuka at the [TLC] pay-per-view and she’s not getting it.
What's next?
It is unknown how long Nia will be gone from WWE TV for, but with Asuka stepping into the Raw Women's Division after TLC it means that her absence might not be strongly felt. Hopefully Nia Jax will be on the fallout episode of Raw after TLC.
Author's Take
With rumours that Neville has walked away from the company and the fact that Cody Rhodes reported that there are many unhappy stars in WWE right now, it seems that the WWE Universe is looking for stars who may be unhappy in their current position, hence the Nia Jax speculation. Whilst it seems clear that Nia is unhappy with some things, it's good that Alvarez has cleared this particular 'drama' up.
