What’s the Story?
Brock Lesnar has been called out by Roman Reigns for his continued absences on Raw, but the Universal Champion might finally return to WWE programming tonight.
Lesnar and Paul Heyman were spotted in Dallas, Texas for Monday Night Raw per PWInsider.
In case you didn’t know
Reigns became the No.1 Contender for the Universal Championship at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in February. Lesnar has not returned to WWE programming since January and has been called out by Reigns every week since.

The heart of the matter
Lesnar has been advertised to appear twice for Raw and neglected to make an appearance. His absence last week led to Reigns confronting Vince McMahon which eventually led to Reigns’ suspension and the announcement from McMahon that Lesnar would return to Raw for this week.
The storyline for WrestleMania 34 has focused solely on Lesnar’s part-time status with WWE and his limited appearances that have become commonplace since his return in 2012.
The arguments made by Reigns took an interesting turn when the former Shield member referred to Lesnar as “Vince’s Boy” – a label that fans put on Reigns during the past three years of his career.
In their previous WrestleMania match, the buildup focused on Reigns and addressing the controversy surrounding his quick rise to the top and his victory at the 2015 Royal Rumble.
Reigns was a newfound singles star when he won the 2015 Royal Rumble which lead to many questioning his credibility.
With wins over The Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H, AJ Styles and other well-known wrestlers, Reigns’ resume has vastly improved since 2015 but that has not affected some of the criticism Reigns has faced from the fanbase.
What’s next?
There has been no word on Reigns’ suspension and whether it has been lifted. There was also no information on whether Reigns is even in Dallas for this week’s Raw.
The current “part-timer” storyline was designed to get Reigns over as a babyface, but Lesnar’s continued absences may be building anticipation to see the Universal Champion wreak havoc on the No.1 Contender.
Author’s take
Lesnar’s return to Raw will have fans at the edge of their seat to see if he gets physical with anyone.
Hopefully, tonight’s segment won’t feature the champion just hopping around with the title while Heyman speaks.
