Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported plans for a champion versus champion match at the Survivor Series pay-per-view between Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.
Due to Lesnar and Mahal currently holding the world championships, the belief is that both men will serve as the representative of their brand for this match and that the buildup will follow that same logic.
Meltzer reported that this match will be a non-title match and it seems to be positioned as the main event for Survivor Series.
This will mark Lesnar’s second time headlining Survivor Series following his match with Goldberg in 2016 and will mark the first time Lesnar and Mahal have faced each other in a match.

Mahal and Lesnar have little to no history or interactions during their career and have been onscreen together once back in 2013 when Lesnar demolished Mahal and the other members of 3MB.
Rumors circulated regarding individual title matches for both men and said that Lesnar and Finn Bálor for the Universal Championship and Mahal and AJ Styles for the WWE Championship were possibilities for Survivor Series, but that no longer seems to be the case.
The outcome of this match is causing a stir amongst wrestling fans who are all wondering which of these world champions will emerge from Survivor Series victorious.
