From the WWE Rumor Mill: Daniel Bryan to possibly win the Greatest Royal Rumble

What's the story?

As per betting odds from BetDSI, the current odds suggest that Daniel Bryan will be winning the Greatest Royal Rumble on the 27th of April in Saudi Arabia.

It also states that Roman Reigns is the current favourite to walk out with the new Universal Champion at GRR.

WWE is hosting the first ever Greatest Royal Rumble event on 27th April from the King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This event will have 50-man Royal Rumble as the marquee attraction, along with various titles, including the Universal Championship and WWE Championship, on the line.

Legends such as Big Show, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio and Mark Henry have also be announced as participants in the 50-man Royal Rumble. Apart from that, The Undertaker will also have a casket match against Rusev on this extravagant show.

The heart of the matter

Speculation has been rampant as to who will win this first ever greatest royal rumble, and if the betting odds are to be believed, it might just be the crowd favourite: Daniel Bryan.

D-Bryan recently made his in-ring return after coming out of retirement, as he had been out of action due to concussion-related injury for about two years.

Bryan is one of the most popular Superstars on the entire roster and it would be a great moment for the entire WWE Universe if the former WWE Champion can win the rumble.

The Greatest Royal Event will take place this coming Friday and is believed to be a 6-hour long event, including the pre-show.

I think it would be a good decision to have Bryan win this match s not only will it give him some momentum after his return, but also establish that WWE has enough faith in him to carry the product and be the face of SmackDown going forward.
