He made his return to the company for the first time since 2007. However, following Lashley’s return, another former WWE Superstar MVP, also revealed his interest in making a potential comeback to the company.

Later that very same year, MVP also won the WWE Tag Team Championship along with Matt Hardy, before eventually departing from the company in 2010.

Following his departure from the WWE, MVP signed a contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling where he became the promotion’s inaugural IWGP Intercontinental Champion.

The heart of the matter

Following a recent tweet via his official Twitter handle, former WWE United States Champion MVP, has been seemingly teasing a possible return to the company as he claimed on the social media that he would certainly entertain the idea of an offer by the WWE for a potential return in the near future.

In his tweet, MVP also weighed in on Lashley’s return to the WWE and wrote that if Vince McMahon’s promotion is indeed interested in bringing him in back then the former two-time WWE US Champion would certainly love to make a comeback.

MVP is currently performing on the Independent scene for promotions such as House of Hardcore and APW. But, earlier this year, MVP did make a cameo appearance on Monday Night Raw as part of the 25th Anniversary of the red brand of WWE.

Author’s Take

MVP is certainly one of the best in-ring competitors in the world today and also has some amazing mic skills as well.

A return for the former WWE US Champion will definitely be a solid move for the WWE as well.
