During Thursday's NXT House Show, Belair faced Ember Moon for the NXT Women's Title. For the finish of the match, she was supposed to take the Eclipse and be pinned by Moon. However, things went wrong, when the Eclipse seemed to land badly. She then proceeded to kick out of the Eclipse by mistake, though the match ended anyway.
The heart of the matter
After the match was called in favour of Ember Moon on Thursday, Belair was helped to the back. She was absent from the House Shows, and it appeared that she had suffered an injury.
Triple H tweeted the card for NXT's 3rd Night House Show in Ontario, Canada, where he mentioned that Belair was slated to face Ember Moon, giving the impression that she was fit to perform.
However, F4WOnline updated that Belair did not feature in the bout, and the match was made into a Triple Threat with Nikki Cross and Aliyah facing Ember Moon instead.
This may be a precautionary measure by WWE, to protect Belair from further harm, and allow her time to recover.
What's next?
Belair may be able to return from the injury soon. As of now, there are no confirmed reports of the damage she took, and her absence from the ring may just be WWE allowing her time to recover.

Author's take
The Eclipse is one of the most over moves in NXT, and kicking out of it was an obvious mistake by Belair. The move may have knocked her senseless for a while, as a result of which her instincts took over allowing her to kick out.
Belair is an extremely talented part of the NXT Women's roster and seems to have a bright future ahead of her. We at Sportskeeda, wish her a speedy recovery from her injuries.
