In case you didn’t know...

There have been 18 Money in the Bank matches in WWE history and the first Women’s Money in the Bank match took place earlier this year and was won by Carmella.
The heart of the matter
The 2018 Money in the Bank pay-per-view will take place on June 17, 2018, and will emanate from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois (billed as Chicago) for the first time in seven years.
The last time the Money in the Bank pay-per-view took place in Rosemont was back in 2011 and featured the infamous main event between John Cena and CM Punk for the WWE Championship.
The Money in the Bank concept was always a dual-brand pay-per-view due to it being created after the WWE made all pay-per-views dual-brand shows in 2007. The first brand-exclusive Money in the Bank pay-per-view took place earlier this year in July and was a SmackDown-exclusive show.
What’s next?
With the first Women’s Money in the Bank match in the history books, the WWE will have to decide how many ladder matches they will have and whether the women will participate once again.
Previous Money in the Bank pay-per-views had two Men’s Money in the Bank matches for the two world championships, but there might be changes to that format if the women are taken into account.
