What’s the story?
As noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Live, Brock Lesnar may not appear in person on next week’s edition of RAW.
Apparently, Lesnar could appear in a pre-taped segment or via satellite on next week’s episode. Besides, the primary reason behind the entire angle has also been noted.
In case you didn’t know…
The WWE has been advertising Brock Lesnar for RAW tapings over the past few weeks, with Lesnar no-showing on his scheduled dates. Lesnar was heavily advertised for this week’s RAW tapings in Detroit, Michigan, however, he failed to show up yet again.

Roman Reigns took a shot at Lesnar in his promo on RAW this week and proceeded to confront Vince McMahon in the gorilla position area—following which the WWE boss took off his headsets and requested Reigns to speak with him privately in his office.
After a brief conversation, Reigns was seen leaving the office, following which Renee Young interviewed McMahon, who noted that Reigns has been temporarily suspended beside also giving the WWE Universe his word that Brock Lesnar will be on RAW next week.
The heart of the matter
On a recent edition the Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez noted that although Vince McMahon promised the fans that Brock Lesnar will indeed be on RAW next week, McMahon didn’t say he’d be there “live”.
Alvarez emphasized that the WWE boss’ choice of words could be indicative that Lesnar may not appear in person on RAW next week.
Nevertheless, the WWE Universal Champion could appear in a pre-taped segment or via satellite on next week’s RAW episode but isn’t likely to be there in person. It was also noted that Lesnar and Paul Heyman no-showing on RAW is a part of the former’s ongoing storyline with Roman Reigns, and not due to any legitimate issues Lesnar was rumored to be having with WWE management.
What’s next?
WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar defends his title against number-1 contender Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 which takes place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 8th.
The next episode of RAW takes place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on March 19th—with WWE head honcho Vince McMahon promising fans that Brock Lesnar would surely appear on the show.
Author’s take
Well, the WWE seems to be hitting the bulls-eye with the Brock Lesnar-Roman Reigns feud.
The WWE Universe seemed electrified by Reigns’ promos over the past couple of weeks, and Lesnar’s absence has, in fact, served to add a layer of mystique and uncertainty to this high-profile WrestleMania feud.
