What's the story?
SmackDown stars have already invaded RAW twice. After putting the RAW roster under siege 3 weeks ago, the New Day invaded RAW again last wekk which ended up costing Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose their RAW Tag-Team Championships.
According to Cageside Seats, members of the SmackDown roster could invade RAW again tonight on the go-home episode ahead of SmackDown Live.
In case you didn't know...
RAW has already been invaded by SmackDown Live twice. On the first occassion two weeks ago, SmackDown stars attacked members of the RAW roster backstage after coming out through the crowd on Shane McMahon's behest. The New Day showed up last week and cost Rollins and Ambrose their titles, which could lead to New Day vs The Shield at Survivor Series.
The heart of the matter
According to rumours, we could see SmackDown Superstars invade RAW for a third time tonight as we build up to Survivor Series. The same rumours suggest that this could lead to retalition from RAW Superstars on SmackDown Live tomorrow, with The Shield leading the charge.
What;s next?
We have to wait until RAW tonight to see if the invasion goes through. However, it does seem likely that WWE will book a segment like this to build heat on the go-home episode of RAW ahead of Survivor Series.
Author's take
WWE booking a big segment like this will help the build for Survivor Series. AJ Styles winning the WWE Championship last week added to the hype ahead of the PPV and this segment could add some more.
However, the only downside of this seems to be the predictability.
