The show is scheduled to feature appearances from a number of legends including Stone Cold, Undertaker, D-Generation X, Sgt Slaughter, Eric Bischoff, Bret Hart, Mick Foley, JBL and many more.

The Rock had left the WWE in 2004 and continued to make sporadic appearances till 2009 and entered in a program with John Cena from 2011 which culminated in matches at Wrestlemania 28 and 29 between the two Superstars.

The heart of the matter

The Rock was a crucial part of RAW especially during the attitude era, and some would even argue that he is one of the biggest stars in WWE history. So it is only natural that he should also be part of such a grand celebration and make an appearance on the show.

The Rock made his last appearance on RAW in January 2016 in a segment with Rusev and Lana.

What's next?

The RAW 25th Anniversary is shaping up to be a mega-event and the fact that it will take place from two venues just adds to its charm.

Not only is the show set to feature a plethora of legends but an Intercontinental Championship match between Roman Reigns and The Miz has also been set up.

Author's take

The 25th-anniversary show will be a spectacle to watch and having The Rock make an appearance will only add to the appeal.

The people's champion is one of the most adored WWE Superstars and the fans will absolutely love it if he makes a comeback.
