What's the story?
With 2018's WrestleMania pay-per-view now over, the WWE community has started to realise that Daniel Bryan is back from injury and is wrestling a full-time WWE schedule.
At such a time, the obvious question that comes up is 'what next'? What is next for the fan favourite star?
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Daniel Bryan has a feud lined up for him, which is not the Miz. The topic of Big Cass was brought up during one of the latest sessions of Wrestling Observer Radio, and Meltzer speculated that he will possibly feud with both Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles in the coming months.

In case you didn't know...
At WrestleMania, Daniel Bryan made his in-ring return, teaming up with Shane McMahon when he faced Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in an intense match.
AJ Styles was involved in a match for the WWE Championship with Shinsuke Nakamura, where he was able to defeat him at WrestleMania. After the match, he was attacked by Nakamura, who turned heel in the process.
On this week's episode of SmackDown Live, during the Superstar Shakeup, Big Cass confronted Daniel Bryan backstage, calling him 'little man'.
He then would interfere in the main event, where AJ and Daniel teamed up to face Rusev and Aiden English. Nakamura would also interfere, once more hitting AJ with a low blow.
The heart of the matter
Big Cass was injured last year, just as WWE separated him from Enzo and was about to give him a big push. According to Meltzer, now that he has come back, in an effort to make him look good, WWE plan to push him in feuds with both AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan.
It was expected that Bryan would be involved in a feud with the Miz, after the A-List superstar was traded from Raw, as per Bryan's request. Bryan is set to face the Miz in a rivalry during the UK Tour after there was tension between them during Bryan's run as the General Manager of SmackDown Live.
It appears as though, Big Cass is set to become the next contender to face him instead, ahead of the Miz.
What's next?
AJ Styles is set to face Nakamura in a rematch for the WWE Championship, at the Greatest Royal Rumble event on the 27th of April in Saudi Arabia.
Author's take
Bryan and the Miz will feud for certain, as the rivalry between the two has been building for the better part of two years. For now, though, it appears that Bryan will face Big Cass instead.
AJ and Bryan are two of WWE's most gifted wrestlers, and if anyone can make Cass look good, it is those two.
