The heart of the matter
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter first reported that Paul Heyman would be the one to induct Goldberg into the WWE Hall of Fame. As of now, WWE hasn't confirmed this because they want to keep the news under wraps till they are ready to reveal it.
This would make sense because Goldberg and Paul Heyman are good friends in real-life. Goldberg is also good friends with Brock Lesnar and went to support Brock in his first UFC fight against Shane Carwin at UFC 116 in 2010.
What's next?
We will have to wait on official word from WWE until this is confirmed; With WrestleMania getting closer, we should get confirmation soon.
Author's take
Paul Heyman inducting Goldberg into the WWE Hall of Fame makes a lot of sense. Not only is Heyman good friends with Goldberg but we can all be rest assured that his induction speech will be worthy of a wrestler of Goldberg's stature.
