One of the biggest mistakes of the past decade was the departure of Drew McIntyre. Once dubbed as "The Chosen One" by Vince McMahon himself, Drew somehow went from potential top-guy to the third leg of 3MB.
When Drew left the company, there were some who speculated that he would never recover from the position he was in. However, what he did would shock the world and eventually cause WWE officials to second guess their initial call.
Drew was released by WWE in 2014 and from there, he would go on a global takeover tour. McIntyre would jump from country-to-country, winning world titles everywhere he was booked.
From ICW to Impact Wrestling, Drew had become a global Superstar and eventually, the powers that be in Stamford would have no choice but to call him back and beg for another chance.
Since returning to the company, Drew McIntyre immediately dominated everyone in NXT and is now ready for his new opportunity to prove his worth as a main roster WWE Superstar.
