A number of videos showcasing GFW's involvement with AAA's TripleMania PPV was broadcast next. The video also featured the now-infamous shoot incident between Rosemary and AAA Superstar Sexy Star.
The video showed Jeff Jarrett arguing with La Parka, with Jeremy Borash trying to calm down Jarrett and rationalize the situation.
The next video package focused on GFW's Super X Cup winner Desmond Xavier. Xavier talked about his time in the military and the rigorous training he went through.
The next two video packages featured a teaser promo for Pagano and another one with Jeremy Borash announcing Eddie Edwards' GHC Championship victory at NOAH in Japan.
There was also a video package in which Garza Jr. talked about his uncle, Hector.
In a backstage segment, McKenzie Mitchell interviewed Richard Justice, who said that although he's hurt, he can't afford to lose another opportunity.
The final video package of the show chronicled Matt Sydal's journey in GFW, his win over Bobby Lashley at Destination X, and his title match tonight.
#4 Eli Drake (c) vs. Matt Sydal for the GFW Global Championship
Once the bell rang, Sydal used his fast-paced agility to engage in a few quick roll-ups to win the match, but Drake kicked-out from all of them. Sydal began manoeuvring at lightning-quick speed, but Drake had none of it and stopped him dead in his tracks to begin his hard-hitting assault.
At one point, Drake distracted the referee, which allowed Adonis to grab Sydal's leg. But, Sydal kicked Adonis away by using the baseball slide. Drake teased using a chair at one point but threw it away.
After several big moves and near falls later, Adonis slipped in the GFW title from the outside and slid in a chair from the other side of the six-sided ring.
The referee only caught notice of the chair and proceeded to get it out of the ring. Drake, on the other side, tried walloping Sydal with the title, but Sydal saw it coming and took out Drake with a high knee for a two count. Sydal went to the top-rope for the Shooting Star Press, but Adonis distracted him.
In the end, during this commotion, Drake finally took out Sydal with the title and nailed him with the Gravy Train for the win.
