GFW/ Impact Wrestling Results (08/04/17): Moose vs. EC3 for the Grand Championship

Moose (C) vs EC3 (for the GFW Grand Championship)

Round 1: Moose had complete control in the first half of the round. The action then spilled out to ringside and EC3 whipped Moose into the steep steps before pounding him.

EC3 won the round by split decision

Round 2: EC3 controlled the opening couple of minutes before Moose came back. He got fired up and hit a big drop kick to end the round.

Round 3: Moose controlled the opening stages before EC3 hit a One Percenter. Moose kicked out but EC3 controlled the rest of the round. Right near the end, Moose hit a chokeslam.

D’Amore and Mantell counted the round as a 10/10 but Bruce Pritchard rated it 10/8 in favour of EC3 and we have a new champion

Moose looked visibly angry after the match. The result was clearly a little disputed.
