Goldberg made a sensational return to WWE on Raw a couple of weeks ago to a massive reaction from the fans in attendance as well as fans all over the WWE universe. However, Raw took place in Brock Lesnar’s home state of Minnesota this week and Lesnar’s appearance led to chants of Goldberg sucks which even led Vince McMahon to pull the plug on the segment early. ‘The one behind 21-1’ Paul Heyman did his best to get the Minneapolis crowd to cheer for Goldberg but the crowd were only interested in rooting for their hometown hero.
The segment on Raw has also led to questions about how the fans in attendance at Survivor Series will react to Goldberg in action after all these years and Goldberg himself was about this on The Ross Report:
At the end of the day, I hope everybody has fun. And if I just so happen to get booed, then, I am surely not going to go out and end my life because of it.
At the end of the day, it’s other people’s interpretation upon your act at that moment, so if I get booed, then, I’ll take it out on Brock more so than I’m doing already. And I believe that that’s what we wanted to do to each other when we were booed the last time we met.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Goldberg also said that this match would be a lot better than his match with Brock at Wrestlemania XX and that in would ‘far exceed expectations as far as violence is concerned.’ We just hope that Goldberg and Lesnar put on a good show. As of now, it does look like Lesnar will beat Goldberg at Survivor Series though. Will that be Goldberg’s last match? We don’t know for sure yet.
