Goldberg hasn't wrestled in WWE in nearly three years. In his last match, he lost to then-Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event in February 2022.
The Original Tribal Chief dominated the WWE legend and beat him in just six minutes to retain his title. Still, the latter hasn't forgotten about this defeat, and in an interview with Bleacher Report, he teased a rematch with The OG Bloodline legend.
"As Goldberg, absolutely not. It was great business, but it’s not how I want to go out. It doesn’t eat at me by any stretch of the imagination, but it eats at me, 100 percent. Roman and I were on a collision course for a long period of time. It never happened when it would have been the best, but to say anyone that beats me doesn’t deserve to have their a** kicked afterward, I’d be a liar if I said anything other than that," the former World Champion said. The WWE legend could return as a heel and assault Roman Reigns, setting the stage for a rematch. It could happen at the RAW premiere on Netflix on January 6 or in one of the RAW episodes before the Royal Rumble.

Goldberg's son wants to see his father face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther
World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and WWE legend Goldberg faced off at Crown Jewel in early November, setting the stage for a potential match in 2025, which would be Goldberg's final one in WWE.
The WWE legend's son, Cage, was also present for the confrontation, and shared his desire to see his father defeat The Ring General.
"He showed his presence for sure too and I mean it was just like, I was like, why are you calling him out? I kind of want to see my dad kick his a** now," Cage said. (H/T 411Mania)
This match is expected to take place at either the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania 41, with Mania being the most likely platform. Still, the World Heavyweight Championship will likely not be on the line, as Gunther is expected to lose it to either CM Punk or Seth Rollins.
