Will John Cena beat Ric Flair's record? A former WCW Champion thinks so HERE
Analysis: Cedric Alexander and Drew Gulak had a really good match. The crowd was invested in it and this match was an extremely unpredictable matchup. It would've been harder to predict the result of this match if Cedric Alexander vs Buddy Murphy wasn't already announced for the Super Showdown (that made it obvious that Cedric Alexander would get the win). Both superstars used their hard-hitting style really well and at some points, it seemed like Drew Gulak would actually get the win. It was nice that the Brian Kendrick & 'Gentleman' Jack Gallagher were eliminated early so that the match could go on without many shenanigans outside of the ring. While it would have been nice to see Drew Gulak get a much-deserved win, it is nice that WWE is still portraying Cedric Alexander as 205 Live's biggest superstar. However, I am going to have to predict that Buddy Murphy defeats Cedric Alexander for the Cruiserweight Title at the Super Showdown. However, Drew Gulak will definitely hold the Cruiserweight Championship in the near future.
