WWE RAW has arguably been a more dangerous place for the roster than SmackDown as of late, and Adam Pearce has had a tough time maintaining control. The red brand's general manager has had Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and the Wyatt Sicks causing all sorts of mischief.
Michael Cole appears to be relieved he's escaped the chaos ensuing on Monday nights. The iconic commentator has returned to his 'home' on SmackDown, and he said tonight (August 30) that he was thrilled to have Nick Aldis calling the shots:
"So glad to be back on SmackDown with a competent GM. Aldis is always in control."
WWE RAW has seen several stars hit the injury table in recent months, mostly because of Bronson Reed. The Australian powerhouse has sent Seth Rollins, R-Truth, and Braun Strowman to the hospital with injuries.
A stressed Adam Pearce came running out to try and stamp his authority after Reed hit a Tsunami on Strowman on top of a car. He was too late, though, and the damage was done.
Bron Breakker has been equally as destructive on the red brand, putting new AEW star Ricochet in an ambulance months ago. The Intercontinental Champion has also done damage to Sami Zayn and Ilja Dragunov.
SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis had no issue controlling Breakker when he arrived on the main roster. The former NXT Champion built a strong rapport with the Brit during his short period on the blue brand.
Nick Aldis has had his fair share of problems on Friday nights, but he's constantly shown who's in charge. He has somewhat had issues keeping The Bloodline in line but hasn't catered to names like Roman Reigns, Logan Paul, and Randy Orton, even fining the latter.
The Bloodline's dominance on the blue brand is matched by that of The Judgment Day and The Wyatt Sicks on WWE RAW. Both factions are giving Adam Pearce a headache with their antics, with Uncle Howdy's group leaving the gorilla position massacred on debut.
Could Triple H consider replacing Adam Pearce on WWE RAW to match Nick Aldis' management of SmackDown?
Triple H could soon be forced to shake up WWE RAW to stop stars like Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker from continuing to dominate the brand. That might mean he calls time on Adam Pearce's spell as general manager, and he might know just the man for the job.
William Regal returned to WWE last year after a short stay in AEW. The Brit honored a non-TV appearance agreement with the rival company that expired in January.
The Man's Man knows all about calling the shots on Monday nights. He spent two years as WWE RAW general manager and won King of the Ring. Those are the credentials Triple H will desire should he make a management change.
William Regal has made sporadic appearances in NXT this year, where he was formerly general manager. He could be the ideal option to rival Nick Aldis, and two Brits laying down the law on the main roster would be must-see TV.
