Becky Lynch was last seen inside a WWE ring during the May 27 episode of Monday Night RAW. She failed to reclaim the Women's World Championship from Liv Morgan in a steel cage match.
It was reported on June 1, 2024, that Lynch's contract with WWE had expired, making her a free agent, and that she had decided to step away for the time being. Recently, Becky took to Instagram and posted a message saying she has had a great career and that it was an honor to be 'The Man' for the WWE Universe. This post left fans speculating whether Becky Lynch was announcing her retirement. The answer is a simple no.
"It’s been a helluva career. Being the Man for all of you was an honor, being the mom for her is a privilege. Thanks for watching my bio on @AETV," Becky Lynch wrote.

The post was most likely just Becky thanking the fans for watching her recently released A&E biography. While she has not signed a new contract with the Stamford-based company yet, it is expected that she will make her return sometime later this year.
