Ever since returning to WWE last year, CM Punk has been one of the biggest attractions in the company. He has been part of three marquee premium live events this year, including Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and Bash in Berlin. However, it looks like the Second City Saint could miss an upcoming major PLE this year for which he was previously advertised.

The event in question is Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. WWE is set to host this iconic spectacle at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, this November, and CM Punk was initially advertised for it. The 45-year-old star was rumored to compete in a blockbuster match against Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at this PLE.

However, Punk is no longer advertised for the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event on WWE's official website. As of now, only six superstars have been featured for the spectacle on November 30, 2024, which includes Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Gunther, Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, and Jey Uso.

The fact that the Best in the World has not been advertised for Survivor Series: WarGames raised eyebrows, sparking a flurry of speculation and curiosity. The iconic premium live event holds quite a memory for the WWE Universe, as it is the very event where CM Punk made his iconic WWE return last year that sent shockwaves in the pro wrestling industry.

Punk, however, is expected to be a part of the event in Vancouver this November, as WWE might eventually advertise him and several other superstars in the coming weeks. It will be interesting to see how things shape up in the coming weeks.

CM Punk's potential match at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024

Survivor Series: WarGames is a premium live event that will forever be etched in the memories of WWE fans, as this very event witnessed the earth-shattering return of CM Punk. Therefore, the Second City Saint is expected to be involved in a high-profile match at this year's spectacle, which has seemingly been teased.

Following his match at Bash in Berlin 2024, Punk expressed his desire to chase the World Heavyweight Championship. However, it could not come to fruition as he had unfinished business with Drew McIntyre. This rivalry will potentially culminate in Bad Blood 2024, where the two will lock horns inside Hell in a Cell.

With CM Punk set to wrap up his feud with The Scottish Warrior at the upcoming PLE, there is a good possibility that he could go after the World Heavyweight Championship. The 45-year-old star could challenge Gunther for the coveted title at Survivor Series: WarGames this year.

This could pave the way for a first-ever match between the two superstars. There have been various rumors about WWE cooking this match for this year's Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event. It will be interesting to see how things shape up in the coming months.
