Roman Reigns is possibly returning to the upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown. On the same night, Cody Rhodes' second encounter with Solo Sikoa is also set to take place. The rivals will battle for the Undisputed WWE Championship on the blue brand's premiere on USA Network on September 13, 2024, in a Steel Cage match.
The American Nightmare has revealed that if The Street Champion manages to dethrone him, he will acknowledge Sikoa as The Tribal Chief. However, it seems that his comments can be the first seeds sown to build towards another match against Roman Reigns.
The Original Tribal Chief is fighting for the Ula Fala. Whoever wears it is labeled as The Tribal Chief. If Rhodes acknowledges Sikoa as The Tribal Chief, it hints that The American Nightmare will make Reigns' fears about being replaced come true.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Roman Reigns' former rivals may not like him, but they acknowledged him as The Tribal Chief. The former Undisputed WWE Champion might not appreciate anyone acknowledging Sikoa as the head of The Bloodline. The mere fact that Cody Rhodes claimed he would acknowledge The Street Champion can be enough for Reigns to reignite his feud with The American Nightmare.
Roman Reigns comments on his upcoming babyface run in WWE
The Original Tribal Chief was shifted to the babyface section of the WWE roster since his return at SummerSlam 2024. This is one of the rarest times in the company's history when two big babyfaces are working at the same time.
During his appearance on Bloomberg's Power Players, Roman Reigns commented on his current WWE run. He explained that playing babyface is easier than playing heel, and being the bad guy is much more fun!
The WWE Universe is looking forward to The Big Dog's run as a babyface. His work against The Bloodline in the two SmackDown appearances after SummerSlam 2024 gave fans a glimpse of what's about to come.
It remains to be seen whether Reigns will make his presence felt on WWE SmackDown.
