Logan Paul's association with WWE is not just about being a talent for the Stamford-based promotion; his famous Prime drink is also an official sponsor for WWE's premium live events. However, a recent announcement from WWE has led to some confusion among fans, leading them to believe that Logan Paul's Prime brand has been replaced as a sponsor for SummerSlam 2024.
This belief surfaced when World Wrestling Entertainment announced Wingstop, an American international chain of restaurants specializing in cooked-to-order chicken wings, as a sponsor for this year's Biggest Party of the Summer. However, it does not mean Prime has been replaced.
Following this announcement, many fans on the internet believe that we will see two sponsor logos at SummerSlam 2024: one for Prime Energy drink and one for Wingstop. Nevertheless, it is important to note that there has been no official announcement specifying whether the Prime logo will be included alongside Wingstop's branding.
In the announcement, the company also declared that its deal with Wingstop would include two corner mat signage placements. Additionally, for the first time in the company's history, the ring canvas will feature this exclusive branding.
Is Logan Paul losing his United States Championship at SummerSlam 2024?
At SummerSlam 2024, Logan Paul will face LA Knight in a United States Championship match. One of the major questions among the WWE Universe is whether Logan will lose his US title to the Megastar.
The prevailing belief is that Knight will dethrone the YouTube sensation and become the new Champion. The great popularity of The Maverick strengthens this assumption. Since the feud between these two was initiated on SmackDown, most fans have supported Knight in dethroning Logan Paul.
However, if WWE decides to extend the rivalry between Knight and Paul beyond a single match, the US Champion could retain his title at SummerSlam. This victory could be attained through any underhanded tactic, such as using brass knuckles illegally.
This angle would lead to the continuation of the rivalry, eventually culminating in more matches where LA Knight might finally capture the title. These rematches could take place at Bash in Berlin or Bad Blood 2024, the forthcoming PLEs of WWE post-SummerSlam 2024.
