If Brock Lesnar does return at Hell in a Cell, it could simply be to attack one of the two competitors in the WWE Championship match. This would be a better choice, as the match doesn't need to end without a winner. The Beast Incarnate has potential issues with Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley, which makes either scenario possible.

Lesnar's last WWE appearance came at WrestleMania 36, as he was soundly defeated by McIntyre. Hell in a Cell could be his vengeance, as he costs The Scottish Warrior the chance to become a three-time WWE Champion. This way he is barred from challenging Lashley for the title.

It could lead to a non-title rematch between Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre or maybe, the former challenges for the WWE Championship with the Scotsman out of the way.

Alternatively, Lesnar may cost Bobby Lashley the match at Hell in a Cell, before facing him without the title on the line. The WWE Champion has not been discrete in seeking a match against Brock Lesnar. It would be a blockbuster encounter, whether or not the world title is at stake.

However, he is unlikely to show up at Hell in a Cell. WWE may prefer to save his return for when live crowds are back if he does come back in time for SummerSlam. But what if Vince McMahon decides to shock the world on Sunday?
