#1 Kofi Kingston turns heel and helps Bobby Lashley retain at Hell in a Cell
While unlikely, this would be the most shocking moment WWE could end Hell in a Cell with. For the past couple of weeks, MVP has confronted Kofi Kingston regarding his fall from the world title picture.
Bobby Lashley's manager seems to have gotten into the New Day member's head, essentially telling him to turn for a chance at reviving his main event hopes. WWE would be better served in telling a long-term story between MVP, Kingston, and Xavier Woods. But it is capable of giving it away at the first time of asking.
Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?
Despite defeating Lashley, Kingston did not receive a WWE Championship match. He had to face Drew McIntyre for that opportunity. One he is still yet to receive since losing to Brock Lesnar in nine seconds in October 2019.
All of his frustrations could boil over in an accelerated manner at Hell in a Cell, thanks to MVP's truth bombs. Maybe there was a reason why The New Day took on RK-Bro on RAW instead of the pay-per-view, despite being worthy of that stage. Their loss this week could add further fuel to Kingston's fire.
He could emerge from under the ring inside the cell and attack McIntyre, allowing Bobby Lashley to retain his title. Kingston could either feud with The Scottish Warrior himself, or join The All Mighty WWE Champion and MVP to form The 'New' Hurt Business.
Either scenario sounds compelling, but if Kofi Kingston was to turn heel, it may not happen as soon as Hell in a Cell.
