Hell in a Cell 2019: 5 Reasons why WWE didn't make The Fiend the new Universal Champion

This was arguably the worst ending I've seen in ages

#1 Lack of babyface Champions in the men's division

Believe it or not, ultimately it all comes down to how many babyfaces and how many heels exist in your roster. Right now, Brock Lesnar is a heel Champion, so are AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura, as are The Revival, Dolph Ziggler and 'The Glorious' Robert Roode (R-Truth is the only other babyface champion).

With Rollins as the top babyface in the brand, heel after heel could square off with him in Live Events and he could run through them all. This is the way strong babyface Champions, from Hogan to Cena to even Roman Reigns have been booked in the past.

Someone like Rollins could elevate McIntyre and Samoa Joe with feuds against both men. Following the draft, he could also go up against the likes of Andrade and Elias, once they are ready.

To keep the Fiend special, WWE may not even book him in every show!
