Helms talks about his surgery, new NXT diva announcer and The Patriot turns 53

Dasha Kuret did ring announcing at Friday night’s NXT live event

Former TNA star Wes Brisco (who turned 31), WWE Superstars “The Patriot” Del Wilkes (who turned 53) and Diego (who turned 32) share their birthdays on the same day, December 21.

WWE NXT Diva Dasha Kuret did ring announcing with JoJo, who was part of the reality show Total Divas during the first season in 2013, at Friday night’s NXT live event in Tampa. Dasha, who was signed in late 2013, recently recovered from a knee injury.

Former WWE Star Gregory Shane Helms, also known as the ‘Hurricane’, tweeted about his successful surgery in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and thanked fans for their support. He also warned the young WWE stars to be careful in this business. He tweeted:

Thanks for all the get well tweets and messages. Surgery went well. They used part of my hamstring to repair my ACL. I'll be down for a bit.
