#4. WWE NXT Women's Championship - July 2013
It's surprising that the NXT Women's title has been around for a longer time than any other current WWE Women's title. Like its male counterpart, it was awarded to the inaugural champion in an eight-woman tournament announced by Stephanie McMahon.
It included four superstars from NXT and four from the main roster.
On the July 24 episode of NXT, Paige defeated Emma to be crowned the champion. She never lost the title as it was vacated when she won the Divas title on the main roster.
#3. WWE RAW Women's championship - WrestleMania 32
Hall of Famer Lita made her way to the ring during WrestleMania 32. She announced that the female superstars of the promotion should be called as such and not divas.
She also introduced the new Women's Championship. The title shared the name with an older version of the Women's World title. However, the promotion clarified that the title was a successor to the original women's championship and doesn't carry the same lineage.
An astonishing fact is that the original championship dates back to 1956, when the Fabulous Moolah won it. It was the NWA World Women's Championship back then. It was older than the WWE Championship itself.
However, it was unified into the Divas title in 2010, which was retired when Lita revealed the new title, thus ending the lineage of the original championship.
Charlotte defeated Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch to be crowned the inaugural women's champion. However, the title was renamed RAW Women's Championship when SmackDown introduced its own women's title.
