Hulk Hogan got $25.1 million added to an already impressive sum he’s set to receive from Gawker in a lawsuit over a sex tape, according to CNN Money reports.
The punitive damages are to be divided as follows: $15 million from Gawker, $10 million from the site’s founder, Nick Denton, and another $100,000 from editor A.J. Daulerio. Those come in addition to to the $115 million in damages a jury awarded Hogan last Friday. Of those damages, $55 million was said to be based on financial loss, with the remaining $60 million being related to emotional distress.

The tape, which involved Hogan and a friend’s wife, was posted to Gawker’s website and was particularly damaging for Hogan because of content other than the intimate activities. During portions of the recording, he was heard making derogatory remarks about African Americans, which led to his removal from WWE programming. While no official word was given regarding his Hall of Fame status, his page was removed from the Hall of Fame section of the company’s website.
In reacting to Friday’s news, Hogan referenced his iconic slam of fellow Hall of Famer Andre the Giant on Twitter.
