How did Big E react to The New Day's new alliance on WWE RAW?

The New Day has been dealing with Karrion Kross a lot on WWE RAW lately, making the former group outnumbered at times due to Big E's absence. Fortunately for the faction, they received an alliance from another powerhouse.

On the August 5, 2024, episode of WWE RAW, The New Day clashed with Authors of Pain to continue their feud against The Final Testament. Unsurprisingly, Karrion Kross got involved in the middle of the match, but Odyssey Jones made his long-awaited debut for the brand and attacked Kross to help Xavier Woods take the victory.

After the tag team match, The New Day's third member Big E took to X and praised Odyssey Jones, stating that the group's newfound alliance was a star and made a lot of new fans on his arrival.

"The big man looked phenomenal!!! A star is born! Odyssey made a lot of new fans tonight! #WWERaw," Big E wrote.

For those unaware, Jones joined WWE in 2019 and was initially a part of NXT. He was drafted to WWE RAW last year but made no television appearances for the brand. He was drafted again to the Monday show during the 2024 Draft.

On the other hand, the former WWE Champion was sidelined with a neck injury in 2022 during a match on SmackDown. He hasn't wrestled since but has appeared on various shows for the Stamford-based promotion as a host and panelist.

Which WWE RAW star praised Odyssey Jones ahead of aligning with The New Day?

Some wrestling fans may still be unaware of who the 30-year-old is and what he is capable of as he is not featured much on television. However, Braun Strowman already has an idea of who he is and recently gave his thoughts.

In a previous interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Riju Dasgupta, the former Universal Champion shared that a lot of "strong" young talent is coming through in WWE, one of them being Odyssey Jones.

"Right now, there's a lot of unbelievable young talent that are coming through that are really, really strong. Odyssey Jones, that's fresh up on the main roster, is one big boy, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he's capable of in the next couple of years."
