How did Kevin Owens take a subtle shot at The Bloodline on SmackDown? Major clue hidden in plain sight!

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn came face-to-face with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa on WWE SmackDown on May 19, 2023, before their clash on Night of Champions. The former pair will put the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles on the line against the latter.

Their segment on SmackDown was cut-throat, with Roman Reigns displaying his excellent mic skills and keeping the audience hooked. However, The Tribal Chief’s shots at the current champions hadn’t begun until everyone was in the ring, but Kevin Owens’ took a possible shot at The Bloodline as soon as he stepped foot in the arena during SmackDown.

On SmackDown, Owens came out to the arena wearing a pair of red shoes. Usually, this isn’t what Owens wears to complete his ensemble, but it’s actually what The Usos wear! So, Kevin Owens choosing the red shoes to complete his SmackDown outfit, and it's extremely prominent as well, could be a subtle shot at the former Undisputed Tag Team Champions, who usually sport similar footwear.

Is Roman Reigns ready to mend his relationship with The Usos and defeat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn?

The only reason KO would even take a shot at The Usos during his promo is to take advantage of the relationship between The Usos and Roman Reigns.

Jimmy and Jey lost the Undisputed Tag Team Championship to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 39. The Tribal Chief has since forced his cousins to apologize for losing the titles and even took away the opportunity for The Usos to take them back on at Night of Champions.

The Tribal Chief doesn’t seem to have forgiveness or family on his mind now. All he seems to care about is bringing the titles back to The Bloodline. Due to this, the relationship between The Usos and Roman Reigns is turning more sour with each passing second.

If this continues, The Usos may turn on Roman Reigns even before he can remove them from The Bloodline. Considering the faction has already begun to crumble, it won’t be a complete shock if The Usos betray their Tribal Chief.

It’s only a matter of time before the WWE Universe will get clarity on how the story will proceed with The Bloodline on SmackDown. There’s a higher chance of the top heel faction dismantling rather than emerging stronger from this difficult phase.
