Nia Jax has been subjected to massive boos ever since her misdirected punch put WWE Superstar, Becky Lynch, out of action for an indefinite period. The reason behind it is the push she has gotten after performing what was another botch in pro wrestling.
Nia Jax won the Battle Royal, she was the last woman standing in the 5 on 5 Survivor Series match Raw won, and she has also teamed up with Tamina, which makes them a huge duo, an almost unstoppable force which dominated the team of Sasha Banks and Bayley on Monday.
Consequently, Nia has been welcomed by boos wherever she's gone, but to add to it, Nia is generating a lot of heat even backstage, because of her sloppy work style. This wasn't the first time Nia had performed a botch. There have been too many of them in her career.
What has made things worse is the push she's getting out of this, which according to people backstage is rewarding someone for being bad at their job. Even though it could turn into a storyline where Becky Lynch comes back and thrashes Nia, but even still, to many such a push is just not justified.
And this is where WWE is setting a wrong precedence. A wrestler who has a history of botching her moves over and over, and being erratic in the ring, should such a wrestler be rewarded with such a push?
This just shows a total lack of a sense of responsibility being portrayed by the WWE at the moment. They've not made steps to curb the current situation, on the contrary, they've given the perpetrator the biggest push of her career.
Does it set a good precedence? Or does it rather show an attitude where WWE follows the route of most profit and keeps the health concerns of their employees on the sidelines?
