Chris Jericho is going to be in the WWE Hall of Fame in the future not only due to his tremendous in-ring work and charisma, but the amazing ability to reinvent himself several times over. This current version of Jericho (a pompous scarf wearing rock star as a heel/ a playing to the crowd scarf wearing rock star as a face) has been his most brilliant reinvention yet.
Just listen to the crowds over the past year, and you’ll realise that Jericho has been getting the biggest reactions when he was with Kevin Owens and in the present. Phrases such as “stupid idiot” and gimmicks such as his List Of Jericho have put him over the top the past year.
On the other side is Kevin Owens. Many worried how Vince would take to him, many doubted he could make it in the WWE and he’s proven them all wrong tenfold. Owens is one of the biggest assets in the company right now and in the future.
Combine all of this with the vicious beating that Owens gave Jericho when he turned on him, and you have yourselves a great WrestleMania feud. While this feud is a reality, it is for the WWE United States Championship, but Triple H would have made this for the WWE Universal Championship.
