Brock Lesnar will lock horns with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34, with the Universal championship on the line. We all knew that this match was bound to happen at this year's WrestleMania, with the outcome of this match quite predictable.
Although the creative team is working hard on stirring things up a bit, it is unlikely that we will see Lesnar walk out of Mania with the Universal championship hanging on his shoulders.
Let's have a quick recap of what has happened in the storyline till now.
At the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Roman Reigns outlasted five other Superstars to earn the opportunity of facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

Brock Lesnar was advertised for Monday Night Raw the following night and come face-to-face with Roman Reigns. But Lesnar didn't show up, leading to Roman Reigns delivering one of his best promos.
The following week on Monday Night Raw, Paul Heyman came out to address the situation and ensured Reigns that Lesnar would be present on Raw the following week. Lesnar failed to show up again, thus angering Reigns. The Big Dog confronted Vince McMahon and was assured by McMahon that he would get his chance to face Lesnar at Mania, and also that Reigns was being temporarily suspended for showing respect towards McMahon.
On the March 19th edition of Raw, Reigns appeared in the ring even after being suspended. He said that he wouldn't leave the ring until Lesnar shows up and faces him. US Marshalls were sent to escort him from the ring, and although they handcuffed Reigns, they ended up getting beaten by him.
At that moment, Lesnar's music hit and he finally made his appearance on Raw. Lesnar charged to the ring and decimated Reigns with a number of German suplexes, followed by an F-5.
But Lesnar was not done yet; he continued his attack on a defenseless Reigns by beating him with a steel chair, before exiting the ring. Reigns had to be stretchered out.
What should happen next leading up to WrestleMania, and how should the match end at Mania?
On the March 26th edition of Monday Night Raw, Kurt Angle announces that Reigns' temporary suspension period is over. Later in the show, Paul Heyman brags about how his client annihilated Reigns last week. Reigns comes out and asks Heyman to call Lesnar out and face him like a man.
Heyman informs Reigns that Lesnar is not here, but will appear on next week's Monday Night Raw. Reigns, infuriated on hearing this, takes Heyman down with a spear and then follows it up with chair shots.
Heyman is carried out on a stretcher. after which Reigns warns Lesnar that he will hunt Lesnar down if he doesn't show up next week.
On the final Raw before WrestleMania, Lesnar makes his way to the ring and tells Reigns he got what he wanted. Reigns comes out and the two brawl. Reigns goes for a Superman punch, but Lesnar blocks it and delivers an F-5 to Reigns. Lesnar leaves the ring, with Reigns laid out in the ring.
At WrestleMania, Lesnar makes his entrance with Paul Heyman on his side, who is still bruised up. Reigns enters next, and the two stare at each other.
As soon as the bell rings, Reigns charges at Lesnar with punches, but Lesnar immediately gets the upper hand and delivers a German suplex to Reigns. Lesnar follows it up with a few more "German suplexes" and hits an F-5. Lesnar goes for the cover, but Reigns kicks out at two.
Lesnar remains dominant in the match, until Reigns finally finds a way to take Lesnar down. Reigns then hits a couple of Superman Punches followed by a spears to Lesnar, but Lesnar kicks out at two as well.
The referee goes down in the carnage, and Lesnar takes advantage of this and delivers a low blow to Reigns. Lesnar then calls Heyman inside the ring and asks him to avenge the beating that Reigns had given him. At this point, two things can happen.
Case 1: If Lesnar decides to leave WWE and join UFC after WrestleMania
Heyman enters the ring with a steel chair in his hand. Reigns is still down after that low blow from Lesnar. Heyman shows a wicked smile on his face, turns towards Lesnar and hits Lesnar with the steel chair.
Heyman continues to attack Lesnar with the steel chair until Reigns finally gets up on his feet and hits Lesnar with a spear. Reigns then covers Lesnar for the pin. The referee is barely able to count, but Reigns pins Lesnar and becomes the new Universal Champion.
Heyman raises Reigns' hand and declares him as the new "Paul Heyman Guy".
Case 2: If Lesnar decides to extend his contract with the WWE
Heyman enters the ring with a steel chair in his hand. Reigns is writhing with pain. Heyman goes to attack Reigns, but suddenly drops the chair and calls out someone. Bobby Lashley makes his way to the ring and takes Lesnar down.
Lashley completely annihilates Lesnar. Reigns gets up, hits Lesnar with a spear, and covers him for the win. Heyman raises the hands of both Lashley and Reigns. Lashley can continue to feud with Lesnar.
But a time will come when Lashley will start feeling that he needs to be in the Universal title picture. That is when Reigns and Lashley can start a feud over the Universal championship, with Heyman taking the side of either of them.
Conclusion
The WWE will most likely book the match to help Reigns score a clean victory over Lesnar.
But the fact is no matter how much the WWE tries to put the crowd behind Reigns' back, they will end up failing. Reigns is not very good on the mic, but having Heyman become Reigns' manager will definitely work like a charm for the WWE.
The best way to crown Reigns as the new Universal Champion at WrestleMania would be by having Heyman turn on Lesnar and join forces with Reigns. In that way, we will all get what we want. We will get to watch Heyman on Raw every week and we will also get to see Reigns as a heel.
