Rhea Ripley and her fans have had some unfortunate news to deal with, as an injury will reportedly sideline her indefinitely. Mami had medical tests that showed a fractured orbital bone, and WWE has not provided a timetable for her return.
This is a setback for The Eradicator amid her rivalry with the reigning Women's World Champion Liv Morgan, which has been going on months. Reports that surfaced say that the injury happened 10 days ago, and more specifically the October 21 episode of Monday Night RAW.
Rhea Ripley got injured when she assaulted Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, and the injury reportedly happened when she headbutted her opponents. Currently recovering from the injury, the former Women's World Champion will not travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where WWE will tape the November 4 episode of the red brand.
As the injury is legit, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez's assault on Rhea Ripley on the October 29 episode of NXT was seemingly a way for WWE to write Mami off TV amid her recovery.

Rhea Ripley reacts to her injury following an assault by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez
Rhea Ripley took to social media to react to the news that she would miss time due to her injury. Mami took a shot at Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, creating a new angle in the storyline.
"Mistake no.1 You left me breathing," she wrote on her official account on X.
Even though the injury is legit, WWE has advertised it as part of the storyline to keep the rivalry going for as long as Ripley is out of action. Last Tuesday on NXT, Morgan and Rodriguez assaulted Rhea backstage and left her bleeding next to her car.
When she returns, Rhea is expected to go after Liv and Rhea again, seeking revenge on both female stars and aiming to re-claim the Women's World Championship, a title she never lost.
Since her return in July, Mami has failed to re-claim the title at SummerSlam and Bad Blood, as interferences from Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez, respectively, cost her the opportunity to dethrone Liv Morgan.
