Former WWE star EC3 recently recalled the time when he took down a stranger who almost broke into his family house.
Ethan Carter III worked for WWE first from 2009-2013 and later from 2018-2020. During both of his tenures with the promotion, he showed great potential. However, the company failed to capitalize on his talents. Even though the 40-year-old returned in 2018 after making it big in IMPACT Wrestling, his run fizzled away soon.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 narrated a terrifying story from back in the day when someone almost broke into his house.

The former WWE star revealed that he was with his parents and girlfriend at the time when he spotted a miscreant peeping through the window. Carter added that he rushed outside to deal with the stranger and soon got into a scuffle.
"Coming back from a night out, I was 21 or 22. I had a girlfriend with me. Parents are up; they are working late hours at the bar. They get back; we are just hanging out and chatting. Out the window, I saw these bug eyes, and before anyone knew what happened, I was out the door; I was chasing him. He looked like a creep, like Peeping Tom. He turns towards me and puts up his dukes like he's going to defend himself," said EC3.

Former WWE star EC3 took down the stranger with ease
Furthermore, EC3 disclosed that he took down the person with a spear and caught him in a tazmission hold, as he had been a wrestling aficionado since childhood. Soon after, the cops showed up to arrest him.
EC3 added that he received a call from the police a few hours later, revealing they had recovered some artifacts from him, including an album by the ABBA band.
"He sort of stumbles and then gets back up. Ironically, Goldberg speared the guy. Bam! All I knew were wrestling moves, so I caught him in Tazmission. I was screaming in his ears. 'Wrong effing house.' The cops come. They called me two hours later and said, 'Hey, we just found some artifacts. Just wanted to know if they are yours. An ABBA CD. EC3 is currently signed to NWA, where he's the reigning NWA National Champion. The former WWE star won the title after defeating Cyon last month.
