With all due respect to Rich Swann and Eric Young, perhaps the most highly anticipated match of Bound for Glory was the clash between Kylie Rae and Deonna Purrazzo for the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship. It's a shame that without any prior announcements by IMPACT Wrestling, the company chose to replace Kylie Rae in this highly-anticipated match with Su Yung.
If Kylie Rae wasn't going to be on tonight's show, imo it should have been announced ahead of time. The way it was done tonight, came across as very odd. #BFG2020
As of writing this article, there is speculation that Kylie Rae is injured, but if IMPACT Wrestling had known about it beforehand, they should have made some kind of announcement about the same, because a lot of people may have purchased the pay-per-view to see Kylie Rae take on Deonna Purrazzo after the fantastic build for the match. Also, is it the wisest decision to have Su Yung become the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion at Bound for Glory when Purrazzo has been doing such a commendable job when it comes to ruling the Knockouts division as a heel? Completely boggles the mind!
