Heath's storyline of having to win a gauntlet to get his contract was one of the most engrossing things about IMPACT Wrestling heading into Bound For Glory, but as luck would have it, Heath was seemingly injured in the match. This is the worst-case-scenario for the talented young man because, from the way that the match played out, the company probably had massive plans for him in the coming weeks. One hopes that it is just a minor injury and that he can return to action as soon as possible, following Bound for Glory 2020.
There are very few compelling stories in wrestling anymore, which seems to be all about flips and high spots, but what was achieved with Heath, Rhino, and Scott D'Amore in the weeks leading up to Bound for Glory has to be applauded, because, in this instance, one was rooting for the underdog.
We at Sportskeeda wish him all the best and hope he can return in no time at all.
