What’s the story?
Former Impact Wrestling television personality, Jenna Morasca was arrested for DUI last month, as per WPXI. Morasca also made it to the headlines for biting the police officer and also tried to bite the medical personnel that tried to help her.
In case you did not know…
The 37-year-old was associated with Impact Wrestling back in 2009. She debuted in a backstage segment with Mick Foley and then went on to play a huge role in the Main Event Mafia storyline in the company.
Morasca also wrestled a match in the promotion when she fought Sharmell at Victory Road 2009. The match, however, turned out to be a forgettable affair for everyone involved.
The heart of the matter
Morasca, who won Survivor: The Amazon reality show, was found unconscious in her SUV in Washington, Pennsylvania.
Her ignition was on and the former swimsuit model was passed out due to a drug overdose, as per reports on TMZ. Before taking her to the hospital, police officers administered a dose of Narcan on Morasca in order to reverse the effects of the drugs she had taken.
On the way to the hospital, Morasca apparently tried to bite the medical personnel and later bit a police officer on the forearm. She was charged with DUI and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
What’s next?
Further developments regarding the story are yet to be revealed. The impact that the incident will have on the career of Morasca should be seen as well.
Author’s take
While this is indeed an embarrassing incident for Morasca, one should not overlook what she has achieved in her life. She won $1 Million on Survivor: The Amazon and appeared on various reality shows after.
Morasca’s mother and ex-boyfriend Ethan Zohn were diagnosed with cancer. While her mother passed away, Morasca was at the side of Zohn while he recovered from the disease.
This shows that Morasca is indeed a strong woman. The recent incident could be a case of her being at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong company. Hopefully, she will recover from the incident and come back strongly.
