Impact Wrestling Report: March 23rd 2017 - Karen Jarrett returns to make Impact great again

#5 LAX (Santana and Ortiz with Konnan, Homicide, and Diamante) vs. DCC (James Storm and Bram with Kingston)

While making his way to the ring, Konnan cut a promo saying that LAX was going to take things street style.

LAX worked over Bram, thus sending him on the defensive. James Storm came in and got worked over.

Storm made a comeback and tagged Bram, but the referee didn't see it. Storm, after getting worked over for several minutes, finally made the tag. Bram powerbombed Ortiz. Storm tagged in and hit a neckbreaker for a near fall.

Storm hit the codebreaker and set up for the Last Call, but got distracted, thus allowing Santana and Ortiz to hit him with a Double 747 to take the win.

After the match, Storm blamed Kingston for tonight's loss and shoved him. Kingston shoved Storm back, thus making Bram also shove Storm. Storm screamed that he started this and left. The crowd chanted for Storm as he departed.

Backstage, Bruce Prichard interviewed Lashley, wherein Lashley said that he was an ordinary guy doing extraordinary things. Lashley went over his fighting background claiming that he defies the odds. Lashley started talking about his past in amateur wrestling and bragged about his accolades.

A "Make Impact Great" promo with DJZ aired, with DJZ claiming that Impact has always been innovative and that the audiences were going to see more amazing stuff from them.

Mckinzie announced Cody vs. Moose for the Grand Championship next week. Braxton and Allie were asked to comment on the threats Sienna gave them last week. Braxton said that Allie was the best thing that ever happened to him and he was not going to let Sienna, Laurel or anyone affect her.

#6 Rebel vs. ODB

Rebel attacked ODB before the referee could signal for the bell. Rebel went to the top to hit a flying body press but missed. ODB drank from her flask before nailing Rebel with a clothesline. ODB hit a bronco buster in the corner for a two count.

Rebel got angry at referee Earl Hebner and threatened to hit Hebner, who stopped Rebel, put on her cowboy hat, and kissed her. ODB offered Hebner her flask. Hebner, after taking a swig, spit out the liquid. ODB grabbed him and kissed him. ODB took the win.

The interview with Lashley carried on. Lashley told a story about getting shot and damaging his knee while going down. Lashley said that he worked hard because he knew what he was capable of doing.


#7 Lashley vs. Jake Holmes

Lashley hit Holmes with the Dominator and followed it up with a spear to take the win.

Jeremy Borash introduced Karen Jarrett. Borash asked Jarrett what she was doing in Impact Wrestling, to which, Jarrett replied that her family had started this company with blood, sweat, and tears. She said that they put everything into TNA and the last few years had been difficult for them.

Fans chanted "Thank you, Jarrett"

Jarrett informed the audience that she was looking towards the future and the subsequent changes. The crowd started chanting "Fire Josh". Karen thanked the production crew and talent backstage.

EC3 walked down to the ring. He said that everything from the talent to the audience was great. EC3 told Jarrett that her top man was reporting for duty and that he was going to assist her in making Impact great again. But, he was not going to do it for the Jarrett's, but for his family, The Carters.

Josh Mathews took the microphone and started ranting on Bruce Prichard, Jeremy Borash, and Dutch Mantel. Mathews added that it was just a matter of time before the Jarretts disappeared for good. Karen slapped him to close the show.
