Madman Fulton w/Ace Austin vs Josh Alexander on IMPACT Wrestling

The IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion avoided a splash in the corner but was overpowered by Madman Fulton in the opening moments. Josh Alexander escaped Fulton's grip and sent Fulton over the ropes with a clothesline. Madman responded with a standing release suplex and a running headbutt.

On the floor, Fulton lawn darted Alexander into the ring post and nearly took his head off with a massive big boot. The giant was in control heading into the break. Back in the ring, snake eyes dropped Alexander on the turnbuckle, and Fulton put his giant paw over his head to repeatedly bounce him off the corner. An STO planted IMPACT Wrestling's Walking Weapon, leaving Josh Alexander in serious trouble.

Alexander finally got some offense in, going after the tree-like legs of Fulton. A diving knee to the back of the head stunned Fulton, and Alexander followed with an incredible stalling suplex. Fulton escaped an ankle lock, but a roaring elbow dazed him long enough for Divine Intervention.

Results: Josh Alexander defeated Madman Fulton via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: B+

The second the bell rang, Ace Austin was on the attack. Petey Williams made the save, but Rohit Raju saved Austin from a Canadian Destroyer. After dropping Williams, Raju was taken down by Trey Miguel. IMPACT Wrestling's Rascal demolished Raju only to be picked apart by Mahabali Shera.

Shera laid out Trey and Williams before coming face to face with Alexander. The Indian Lion ran through the champion, taking him down with a chokeslam backbreaker. With Ace Austin and Rohit Raju in an alliance, and their respective muscle in Madman Fulton and Mahabali Shera, what's stopping them from leaving Slammiversary with the X-Division Championship?

Backstage, IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo was tearing into Kimber Lee and Susan for failing to win the Tag Team Titles at Against All Odds.

Purrazzo claimed that they'd let her down for months and that she was done with them. Susan pointed out that, without them, she wouldn't be champion right now. Still, Purrazzo stood by her statement and left them alone in the hallway.
