Pick Your Poison Match: Matt Cardona vs Sami Callihan on IMPACT Wrestling
Sami Callihan attacked Matt Cardona before the match, looking to weaken him on the floor. Back in the ring, Cardona nearly got a pinfall just as the bell rang. Cardona battered Sami, nearly hitting the Broski Boot in the corner.
Callihan avoided the wrecking ball dropkick through the ropes, but a big chop missed, sending his hand into the ring post. Cardona blocked a suplex onto a chair but lost his grip when his hand was bitten. Matt shook it off, launching Callihan into the barricade.
The former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion responded with an exploder suplex onto the floor. Back in the ring, a hellacious clothesline nearly decapitated Cardona.
Matt wasn't shaken for long, as he moved up top for a dropkick and the Broski Boot. Callihan was kicked out at two.
Radio Silence was blocked with a powerbomb, but Callihan couldn't nail the Cactus Special for the win. Cardona fought out of it and took Callihan off the second rope with a hurricanrana.
After that, Radio Silence would've finished the job but Callihan pulled the referee in his way.

After the match, Sami Callihan called Trey Miguel out to the ring. Miguel expected a fight, but Callihan instead told him how proud he was of The Rascal. Trey proved himself at Hardcore Justice, and last week he helped Sami Callihan in a fight with XXXL. Miguel said that he did that for himself, not for Sami, something that Callihan understood.
He again offered to mentor Miguel and help get him to the next level at IMPACT Wrestling. Trey, again, refused to shake his hand. Callihan said he should be thanking him because he was the one who attacked Tommy Dreamer and opened up a spot for Trey.
Trey attacked Sami but was floored with a hoof to the family jewels. After that, a short-arm clothesline nearly turned Trey inside out. Callihan was done, but Trey refused to stay down.
Callihan grabbed a chair and went to work. An exploder suplex onto a standing chair seemingly wrecked the back of Miguel, but as Callihan left the arena, he stood once again.
