Eric Young w/Violent By Design vs Eddie Edwards w/James Storm, Willie Mack, and Chris Sabin on IMPACT Wrestling
The battle between the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champions was worthy of the main event spot. Eddie Edwards got the early advantage with an overhead belly to belly and a snapmare, bringing Eric Young to the mat just as we hit the final commercial break.
Throughout the break, Edwards had Young fully under control. A little extra help from Violent By Design, however, allowed IMPACT Wrestling's World Class Maniac to get ahead.
As Edwards was dumped to the floor, he was swarmed by VBD. Edwards' allies came around the corner, and the staredown allowed the referee to keep them all separate.
Back in the ring, Edwards' comeback was halted by a rake to the eyes. As EY climbed to the top, Edwards hit the top rope to crotch him. A superplex drove Young into the middle of the ring. Edwards' backpack stunner failed as Young was able to get to his feet, but found himself spun about with a blue thunder bomb. Young kicked out at two.
The face of IMPACT Wrestling was caught by Eric Young and driven to the mat with a Death Valley Driver. After kicking out, he was able to plant Young with a tiger bomb, getting another near fall. Young rolled to the floor to avoid the Boston Knee Party, but couldn't escape the suicide dive attempt.
As a brawl broke out between the six men on the floor, Young pulled out a victory with a roll-up.
Results: Eric Young defeated Eddie Edwards via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.
Grade: A-
As the go-home show came to a close, the two factions fought on, tearing apart the ringside area.
