IMPACT Wrestling World Championship: Brian Myers vs Eddie Edwards (c)
The Multi-Time Tag Team Champion took Edwards to the corner and unexpectedly got the upper hand. After a clothesline, a snapmare takedown set Edwards up in a side headlock.
Eventually, Edwards shook of Myers and launched him to the floor as we hit the final commercial break of the night. When we returned, however, Myers was back in control. Edwards was launched shoulder first into the ring post, and Myers continued to pile on the pressure.
Myers found himself sent into the barricade where he was met with a suicide dive from the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion. Still, he cut off Edwards again, launching him into the steel.
Back in the ring, a back suplex earned Myers a two-count over the champ. Edwards escaped and suplexed Myers into the turnbuckle. From here, Edwards finally began to build up some steam. Corner elbows, clotheslines, a step up enziguri and the backpack stunner nearly put Myers way.
Myers blocked the tiger driver and hit the Edgecution, getting yet another close call on Mr. IMPACT Wrestling. Myers ran in for the spear, but a superkick stunned him. The tiger driver connected. Still, Myers wouldn't give in.
Edwards set up for the Boston Knee Party, missing the first, but laying Myers out cold on the second attempt.
Results: Eddie Edwards defeated Brian Myers via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.
