The IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions ran into David Finlay and Juice Robinson backstage. FinJuice claimed that their match against XXXL took a bit longer than it should've. They also stated that they know how good The Good Brothers are. They're the best tag team at professional wrestling...while hungover. Karl Anderson said he wasn't, but Doc Gallows admitted he may have been.
Brian Myers was supposed to face Eddie Edwards tonight, but Myers claimed to be unfit to compete tonight. Mark Sterling claimed that Myers had suffered irreversible damage to his left eye. Luckily for Edwards, Myers had a replacement in mind.
Is this man the funniest man in wrestling?
Eddie Edwards vs. Hernandez w/Brian Myers on IMPACT Wrestling
Hernandez ran right through the heart and soul of IMPACT Wrestling, driving him spine first into the apron. Myers attacked him while the ref was distracted by SuperMex.
Hernandez crushed the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion with a series of body splashes but couldn't secure the Border Toss. Edwards escaped to the turnbuckle, where he connected with the Boston Knee Party from the second rope.
Results: Eddie Edwards defeated Hernandez via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.
Grade: C
Backstage, Brian Myers was confronted by both Matt Cardona and Scott D'Amore, who said that Myers would face Eddie Edwards next week on IMPACT Wrestling. The special guest referee? Matt Cardona. Not only that, but it would be an Eye for an Eye Match!
Okay, not really. Scott was just kidding.
