Tommy Dreamer makes an emphatic statement; Epic preview of the IMPACT Wrestling Triple Threat Revolver match
Tommy Dreamer makes an emphatic statement; Epic preview of the IMPACT Wrestling Triple Threat Revolver match

IMPACT Wrestling was again interrupted by a paid advertisement from AEW President Tony Khan. Tony Schiavone asked Khan what the "forbidden door" was and what it means to have it open. The forbidden door was Tony Khan all along, and the door has been opened to new experiences. IMPACT Wrestling, NJPW, every company seems to be game for AEW.

How many more surprises does Khan have for his viewers? We may find some more next week. "The forbidden door swings both ways, and I'll be back in Nashville sooner rather than later." What did that mean?

The IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions cut a promo on their opponents tonight. The Good Brothers would face IMPACT tag legends Chris Sabin and James Storm, and tonight Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows planned to do what they do best. Beat up Storm and Sabin.

Doc Gallows predicted the ending of tonight's match along with the No Surrender bout against Private Party. A Magic Killer, a 1-2-3, and a Too Sweet.

Kiera Hogan w/Tasha Steelz vs. Nevaeh w/Havok on IMPACT Wrestling

Nevaeh hammered the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champion early, and dropped Kiera Hogan with a snapmare/neckbreaker combo. Hogan kicked out but was demolished with a clothesline.

Hogan managed to send Nevaeh into the ropes thanks to a little distraction by Tasha Steelz, and The Boricua Badass rocked Nevaeh with a roundhouse. Hogan choked out Nevaeh, using her long legs to keep out of harm's way before pelting Nevaeh with a series of kicks.

Nevaeh responded with a wheelbarrow facebuster, launching Hogan into the mat at high speed. An eye rake and a dropkick was nearly enough to knock out Nevaeh. The Monster of Mayhem responded with an STO, but Steelz dropped her with a Codebreaker, leading to a DQ.

Results: Nevaeh defeated Tasha Steelz via DQ on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: B

AEW stars were next to wish Tommy Dreamer a happy birthday ahead of his IMPACT Wrestling World title match.

A majority of them insulted Dreamer, but Proud and Powerful and The Young Bucks praised Dreamer for his contributions to the sport and his advice over the years.
