On IMPACT Wrestling last week, Hernandez worked with Brian Myers to battle Eddie Edwards. However, Matt Cardona made the save, and at IMPACT Wrestling No Surrender, they'll face Edwards and Cardona in a tag team match.
IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Championship: James Storm and Chris Sabin vs. The Good Brothers (c)
A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE
Chris Sabin and Karl Anderson locked up in the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Title Match. Sabin and James Storm took the fight to The Machine Gun, earning an early two-count. The Cowboy of IMPACT Wrestling began to work over the arm before Anderson tagged out to the big man. Doc Gallows was dumped to the floor along with Anderson as we move into the final break of the night.
Back from the break, The Good Brothers managed to turn things around with Doc Gallows demolishing The Motor City Machine Gun with a big boot. The champions slowed things down, leaving Storm to watch from afar as they tortured Sabin.
The Good Brothers were distracted by the appearance of Matt Hardy and Private Party, though, allowing James Storm to make the tag and light up Anderson and Gallows. A leaping enziguri/backstabber combination would've gotten the pin, but Private Party broke up the pin.
Results: Chris Sabin and James Storm defeated The Good Brothers via DQ on IMPACT Wrestling.
Grade: B
Backstage, Big Money Matt and Private Party were celebrating their "moves" tonight. On Saturday, they'll capture the IMPACT Wrestling tag team titles. IMPACT Co-VP Scott D'Amore came in, though, claiming that Private Party crossed the line. Hardy said that it was just the heat of the moment.
Well, D'Amore isn't here to ruin a party. So what's the plan? The IMPACT Wrestling tag team titles will be defended in a three-way tag team match. James Storm and Chris Sabin have been added to the match.
IMPACT Wrestling World title Contract Signing
On Saturday, February 13th, it's Tommy Dreamer's birthday, but it's also IMPACT Wrestling No Surrender. Dreamer will challenge Rich Swann for the gold, looking to win his first IMPACT title. Swann signed the contract without saying a word, sliding it to Tommy.
Dreamer thanked D'Amore and Swann for the opportunity, saying that there are far too many people in the locker room more deserving. Dreamer's two world titles came from fights with two of his best friends, Taz and Christian. The same thing will happen Saturday.
There are no holes in Swann's offense, but there's a lot in his defense. Swann's got a bad leg, and it's the perfect target for Dreamer. Before he could finish, Moose appeared. The TNA World Champion reminded Swann, Dreamer, and Scott D'Amore that Swann offered him a title shot.
Swann is supposed to be the best wrestler on the planet, but it looked like he wanted to take a night off at No Surrender. D'Amore threatened to suspend Moose indefinitely if he interfered on Saturday. Moose said he didn't need to. He already beat Tommy Dreamer, and he knew he could beat Swann.
Dreamer was furious, and brought up some texts he received after their match at Slammiversary. Dreamer took Moose to the limit last summer, and even though Moose seemed to be more focused now, he still didn't understand.
Tommy Dreamer wrestled, and continues to wrestle, to push the younger generations to test their limits. At No Surrender, he'll do that when he takes Rich Swann to his limit and captures the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship.
